Latest Update, 6th October

We have two pop up dance classes. The first, Argentine Tango for Beginners will take place on Sunday 10th October and the second, Northern Soul Inspired dance class for the non-dancer will take place on 24th October. See the calendar for further details. A new sewing class has started on Monday evenings, 6.30 pm – 11.00 pm. There is tuition in soft furnishings and dressmaking from Anne Nequest. The Parish Council meetings are now on the first Wednesday of the month. Parties are now starting up again and we had our first wedding breakfast. Mary Wells now has 2 classes on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and has dropped the Thursday afternoon one. On the 8th November there will be a valuation day for medals and metals. We are really hoping to get the Thursday morning Coffee Mornings going again and need a few more volunteers to join the rota.

Coffee Morning

Thursdays, 10.30-12.00pm

We are hoping to restart the weekly coffee morning from September and need a group of people to run it on Thursdays from 10.30 until 12.00. It would aim at all age groups in the village and would include everyone who wants to chat or get to know new people. We can help you to get it going.

Village Hall Trustees

The Village Hall is run by a group of voluntary trustees. If you have spare time and energy please consider joining us. We particularly need people who want to get involved in running our website or organising events. We especially need more men in our group. At present Richard is the sole male representative. Please join us!

200 Club

The 200 Club costs £24 per year to join. This money contributes to the running of the Village Hall and helps to keep rental prices low as well as ensuring that the fabric of the hall is well maintained. In return you have the chance of winning one of five prizes each month from £50 down to £10.  Please join and help your community!
